Mizuho Securities is responsive to the diverse needs of its clients whether they are Japanese individuals or institutional investors based in Japan and overseas, non-financial companies, financial institutions, or public corporations for equities, bonds, and other securities.

For individual clients, we market equities, bonds, investment trusts, and insurance, along with such financial services as wrap accounts. After carefully identifying the risk tolerance and investment aims of each of our clients, we also offer them cutting-edge financial products, such as foreign stocks, foreign currency bonds, structured bonds, and derivative instruments. We have two trading courses the three-channel support course and the direct course (online trading) aimed at meeting the needs of individual investors. Clients are able to select the course that best suits how they trade and invest.

For our institutional clients, we devise and supply optimal solutions that take into account their defining business attributes. In investment banking, our range of services encompasses everything from equity and bond underwriting, support for share offerings, and investor relations (IR) consulting to an assortment of financial and capital strategy advisory services, M&A advisory, and structured finance. We also offer comprehensive support to our clients in devising management strategies and raising funds. Our main market businesses are equity sales and trading, bond sales and trading, research, and investment trusts, and our institutional clients are consistently pleased by the quality of our research reports and financial products.

We are also active in forming alliances, tying up with regional financial institutions and non-financial companies, so as to increase the number of channels through which our products and services are marketed.
